Central European Brewers Conference (CEBC) Terms & Conditions

The CEBC values the participation of each member of the community and our goal is to deliver an enjoyable and fulfilling experience. The CEBC is designed to increase interaction, engagement, collaboration, connectivity and community, in a fun and safe learning environment.

Conference participants are expected to conduct themselves with integrity, courtesy and respect for others and maintain a high level of professionalism at all conference programs and events, whether officially sponsored by CEBC or not. All attendees, exhibitors, speakers, sponsors, vendors, volunteers and staff at the CEBC event are required to observe the following Code of Conduct.

Code of Conduct

CEBC is dedicated to providing a harassment-free conference experience for everyone, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race or religion. We do not tolerate harassment of conference participants in any form. All communication should be appropriate for a professional audience including people of diverse backgrounds and cultures. Sexual language and imagery is not appropriate for the conference.

Be kind to others. Do not insult or defame participants. Harassment in any form, sexist, racist, or exclusionary jokes are not condoned.

Participants violating these rules may be asked to leave the conference at the sole discretion of CEBC. Thanks for helping to make this a welcoming event for all.

Age Verification

Attendees must be 18 years or older and must present valid government-issued ID if asked. This is an industry conference and trade show and is not open to the public. All attendees must comply with posted warnings and policies at all times.

Waiver

As a condition of this meeting or event, participants waive any claim against the CEBC and its officers, directors, employees, or agents, or against the presenters or speakers, for reliance on any information presented and release CEBC from and against any and all liability for damage or injury that may arise from participation or attendance at the program. Participants understand and agree that all property rights in the material presented, including common law copyright, are expressly reserved to the presenter, speaker or to CEBC. Participation in CEBC events and activities brings some risk and participants hereby assume responsibility for their own well-being. If another individual attends in the place of the original registrant, per CEBC transfer policy, the new registrant agrees to this disclaimer and waiver by default of transfer.

Photo Licensing

CEBC intends to take photographs and video of this event for use in CEBC news and promotional material, in print, electronic and other media, including the CEBC website. By participating in this event, I grant CEBC the right to use any image, photograph, voice or likeness, without limitation, in its promotional materials and publicity efforts without compensation. All media become the property of CEBC. Media may be displayed, distributed or used by CEBC for any purpose.

Cancellation/Refund Policy

Attendees who wish to cancel their attendance for the conference may do so up to 30 days prior to the first day of the conference. Attendees who wish to cancel will receive a full refund.

Attendees experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 immediately prior to the conference and providing a doctor’s note or a positive COVID-19 test will also be able to cancel their attendance up until the day before the conference.

Event Cancellation

If the CEBC cancels the conference, attendees will receive a full refund.

COVID Protocol:

The CEBC must follow the Hungarian Government Protocol for the conference. As of now the protocols require that all attendees to the conference must carry an EU vaccine passport, Hungarian vaccine card or vaccine card from countries listed on this link. As of now a negative COVID test is not enough on it's own to take part in the conference.

There are no requirements for masks during the conference as of now, but we do encourage you to wear one if it makes you feel more comfortable.
